I’m Adam Weighell, a professional voiceover artist and broadcaster with more than 20 years behind the mic. I’ve built my career around making words sound natural, engaging and believable, whether it’s a national campaign, corporate film, narration or something that simply needs to sound great.

My broadcast career includes five years as the Drivetime presenter on Heart North West, broadcasting to a TSA of more than 7 million. That experience now sits at the heart of my voiceover work, giving me the ability to take direction, understand a brief and deliver a read that connects with an audience.

From my professional home studio, I record TV and radio commercials, corporate films, e-learning, branded content, online video, narration and radio imaging.

My delivery can be warm and reassuring, energetic and upbeat, confident and authoritative, or natural and conversational. The aim is always the same: make it sound like a real person talking to real people.

I also have extensive audiobook experience, most recently recording my own book and audiobook, Dear Toby: The Diary of a Preemie Parent.

Alongside voiceover, I continue to work as a radio presenter and podcaster. I created and hosted School of Dad, which reached number one in both the iTunes Comedy and Parenting charts.
