Scott is a multi-award-winning, professionally trained actor and voice artist with nearly 30 years of industry experience. Working from his purpose-built, broadcast-quality studio, complete with an integrated soundproof booth, he delivers exceptional audio with fast turnaround times and a collaborative approach tailored to every project.
His voice is warm, natural and engaging, with an authoritative edge when required. Holding a degree in Performing Arts, Scott has also spent more than two decades writing and voicing Audio Description for television, film, sport and live events. This specialist work has refined his sight-reading, script interpretation and vocal performance skills to the highest level. Career highlights include winning the Entertainment Globalization Association Hermes Award for Best Audio Description for a Series in 25, recognising his scripting and narration of the acclaimed Bluey episode "Sleepytime" for CBeebies. He also provided live enhanced audio commentary for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Rio Paralympic Games, alongside live Audio Descriptive Commentary for Channel 4 football coverage.
Scott has voiced national television and radio campaigns for a wide range of leading brands and organisations. His clients include Adidas, Royal British Legion, Larian Studios, LEGO, BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Worldpay and HSBC.
His extensive experience spans television and radio commercials, promos, continuity, corporate narration, e-learning, educational content, animation, video games, English language teaching, radio drama, live events, Voice of God (VOG), audiobooks and short stories. With nearly 30 years of professional experience, Scott has had the privilege of working across almost every area of the voiceover industry. In the commercial sector, he has won several awards for national and regional campaigns, representing leading brands and organisations including Adidas, the Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal, San Pellegrino, Bentley, BMW, Ford, HSBC and Worldpay. His drama work includes the BBC production Archie Dobson's War and Doctor Who: Antidote to Oblivion for Big Finish. He has also worked extensively in the video games industry, providing either or both voice and performance capture for AAA titles including LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, 007 First Light, Baldur's Gate 3 and Star Citizen. As a character performer, he has created countless voices for English Language Teaching projects with publishers including Oxford University Press and Cambridge University Press. Scott has spent more than two decades writing and voicing Audio Description for television, film, sport and live events. His clients have included the BBC, UKTV, Channel 4, Channel 5, ESPN, BT Sport, Film4, E4 and 2 Entertain. Thank you so much for taking the time to record our script for the coat advert. We really liked Scott’s read 1 and will go with this version for the final cut.
We begin production on the advert in the next few days and we’re really looking forward to piecing it together. I’d like to thank Scott so much for his work and performance, and I know his voice will add so much value to the advertisement campaign.
