Mary Jane Wells is a British female voice artist with a UK passport, an Irish passport and USA Green card. Her work won a BAFTA in recent years (she was series voice for BBC’s ‘In My Childhood’), as well as 3 Earphone Awards, a nomination for Outstanding Body of Voiceover Work and 2 Audie Awards.

Her national campaigns have included Puma, LinkedIn, Eharmony, Sunnt Finance and Jet 2. She has worked for NASA and the Obama Campaign. Others include – Microgenius, Bank of America, Dreamworks, HBO, Claritas for Futurebrand who branded the 2012 Olympics, Tech-crunch, Jaguar, Emagine – and Dettol, Forest of Dean, City University London, Shade Station, NASA. She is also the voice of Puma Mobium, Jet 2 Airways, Eharmony, Interflora, Sunny Finance, Aqua Credit, and LinkedIn Talent Pipeline.

She is also a voice match doing dubbing and ADR for other celebrities – Cate Blanchett’s voicematch at Dreamworks, Tilda Swinton in Dr Strange, Judi Dench in Marigold Hotel and Nicole Kidman in Paddington. She read the news as the digital anchor for the Chicago Tribune news app every morning for a year, and was the voice for the Downton Abbey audiobooks ‘Below Stairs’ and ‘Above Stairs’ and is the award winning narrator of another 35 audiobooks with Simon and Shuster, Audible and Harper Collins. She also popped up as an on-camera actress in HBO’s The Newsroom, as American character Josie Marks.

Heroine, based on the true story of female soldier in the US Army recently debuted at The Kennedy Center. Mary Jane wrote and performed in this solo show which won a Made in Scotland Award, Writers Guild Olwen Wymark Award and a Scottish Theatre Arts Award.
