I have a strong, youthful, engaging and trustworthy voice. It’s approachable, smooth and easy to listen to, while still being commanding and charismatic.

Voice work includes the voice of The Secret Barrister, the Charles Stross “Laundry Files” series, “Kingmaker” series, and numerous other books for Audible as well as work on their dramas. Many commercial voice overs, and video game voices for numerous projects including the lead voice in “Dovetail Games Fishing“. I trained at LAMDA.

In my other actor work I played a recurring role in Ridley Scott’s “Raised By Wolves“, and was a series regular in the hit BBC/PBS show “Call The Midwife“, previously recurring role on “Holby City” and appearances in “Harlots” and “The Head Hunter“. Appeared in the West End in “Birdsong“, “Harvey” and “Rosencrantz And Guildenstern Are Dead” as well as touring internationally (Paris, Sydney, BAM New York) with Cheek By Jowl.

A thankyou to Jack Hawkins

I just wanted to get a thankyou message to Jack Hawkins for his voice work on Station Eleven. My husband and I have been off sick with Covid for a week and I cannot read cos my eyes hurt so signed up to Audible. I trialled so many books but could not cope with the voices. They seemed harsh or too glib. Until finally I heard Jack Hawkins voice….at last…I have been able to relax to the sound of his voice while recuperating. A gentle, varied and thoughtful voice, obvious that alot of work was put into this narration. Just thought he would like to know his work is helping someone to recuperate. It’s the perfect voice to listen to while poorly, very comforting, compassionate and clear.
