Video Games:
In the video games sphere, I will come to your game armed with a toolkit of characters up my sleeve. I understand the character archetypes and worlds that games are set in, and use this to craft believable, rounded characters. I play Agrias Oaks in “Final Fantasy Tactics”, Omeuras in “Lords of the Fallen II”, The Witch and The Sorceress in “Path of Exile II”, and have characters in “Men In Black: Most Wanted”, “The Settlers New Allies”, “No Plan B” and “We Happy Few”, plus another very exciting AAA title currently under NDA. I have trained with Andrea Toyias in character creation for games, and Tom Keegan and Neil Newbon in MoCap and Pcap.
Animation:
I am an ardent lover of animation. From adult animations like Archer and Big Mouth to children’s animated media that I can watch with my daughter, I adore it all. I work regularly in a child’s voice and can bring all the imagination, and comedy timing that the genre requires. Credits include Happy Go Hopscotch, Warhammer 40,000 and Novakid.
Audiobooks:
As a book lover, it’s a pleasure to work in the audiobook world. It’s a place where I can craft believable characters, and utilise my repertoire of accents. As well as my native British accent, I work in various regional British accents and a general American accent. Taking time to carefully prep each book and create a bespoke voice for each character is a labour of love. Titles include The House of Mirrors by Erin Kelly, Roseanna by Beverley Watts, Inferior by Angela Saini, Superior by Angela Saini.
eLearning:
Over my many years as a voiceover artist in this industry, I have voiced eLearning content for hundreds of companies, and they have all needed the same thing from me. To deliver eLearning content that isn’t boring! Sure, sometimes the subject matter can be a bit dry, but it’s my job to get under the skin of it, and breathe life into it. What you end up with is content that feels like your best friend explaining something to you. These days, high quality eLearning producers need that human touch, to set them apart.
Home studio
My home studio was bespoke built by a local joinery company and was designed by my husband who is a musician, producer and sound engineer. The vocal booth is fully sound treated, and I use a Neumann TLM 1 mic running through a Grace Preamp and Apogee interface. I work in Logic Pro X on a mac. I can link up with you online for directed sessions using whatever medium you prefer, whether that’s Cleanfeed, Session Link Pro or Source Connect, or Zoom, Teams, or Google Meet. I can usually offer a fast turnaround time of 24 hours on most projects.
