My name is Mike Cooper, and I’m a genuine British voiceover artist, working daily, for clients all over the world, from my studio in America. So, whether you’re based in the UK and need someone who carries on working into your evening, or you’re in the US and want a 1099 contractor who works in your timezone, I hope to be able to help you.

I work on Commercials (radio, TV and web), Broadcast Narration (especially Documentary Narration) Explainer Videos, Corporate and Industrial Narration, e-learning and Training, IVR and more. Fiction audiobooks aren’t my thing, but I’m open to recording works of non-fiction, such as business and Mind, Body & Spirit titles.

Though I transitioned to voiceover full time over a decade ago, my broadcasting career goes back much further. As of 2019, I have a 30-year background in radio and television production (I started young!) working on both sides of the glass as both talent and producer.

Since I transitioned to full-time voiceover work in 2008, getting the job done quickly and painlessly – while taking direction well – have become my trademarks. These have ensured me a successful career, with an impressive client list (see below) that includes a decade with BBC World Service radio, several years as a network voice for HISTORY and QVC on television in the UK, and numerous documentaries for A&E, National Geographic Channel, The Smithsonian Channel and independent producers.

My commercial and corporate narration skills are also in demand for corporations including Hewlett Packard, Siemens, BP, Rolls Royce and Xerox, to name but a few. And in the UK, I’m the brand voice of Gala Bingo on radio and TV campaigns.
