The qualities most identified with my voice are articulate, trustworthy, intellectual, and friendly.

My actor training, including a Shakespeare MA, means that I am at ease with commercial, cartoon, and drama projects, and I can lend an engaging and lyrical lilt to audiobooks and material that benefits from being ‘lifted’ from the page, such as corporate and technical work with complex vocabulary.

My academic PhD in 17th-century British drama gives my voice an educated, articulate authority perfect for documentaries. Certification as a teacher of English as a second language makes me a reliable guide for e-learning projects. I am also certified as a radio presenter, with particular experience presenting the news, and have completed workshops in ADR.
